The Muhlenberg women's basketball team lost at Stevens, 71-60, in a makeup of a game that was postponed three weeks ago.

The Ducks (20-3) have received votes in the D3hoops.com national poll this season and were fourth in the East Region in last week's NCAA rankings.

Hours after being selected as Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball player of the year, senior Leanna Tallamy notched her 16th double-double of the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Senior Abby Stenger (pictured above) added a season-high 14 points, and senior Nicole Pepe scored 10.

In a first half of runs, the Mules (16-7) scored eight straight points - six coming off steals - to open up a 15-9 lead before Stevens went on a 16-3 surge to open up a seven-point lead. Muhlenberg responded wirth a 7-0 run to knot the score at 25 with 4:43 to play in the half, but the Ducks reeled off the next 10 points to pull ahead to stay.

Muhlenberg was within four at the 10-minute mark, but another Stevens 10-0 run put the game out of reach.

Tallamy's 14 boards gave her 251 for the season, making her only the fourth different Mule to grab 250 rebounds in a season. Stenger was 4-for-7 from three-point range and netted 11 of her 14 points in the second half.
