The Muhlenberg Mules battled throughout against the visiting Franklin & Marshall Diplomats, but eventually fell 56-52 to their Centennial Conference foe.

Veronica Dawson had a strong night for the hosts, shaking off a scary fall in the first quarter en route to scoring a team-high 18 points. The sophomore also nabbed six rebounds and went 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. Lyndsey Costigan also stood out on the glass, grabbing 12 rebounds to go with 11 points for her third double-double of the season.

In what was a physical contest throughout, Muhlenberg had three players foul out in the final quarter. That was a microcosm of what occurred throughout much of the game, as the Diplomats finished with 27 free throw attempts on the evening.
