The Muhlenberg teams combined to break four school records at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Championships, the last meet before the NCAA Championships.

As he has all season, junior
Christopher Short led the way by contributing to three school records, breaking his own marks in the 200 and 400 and running the anchor leg on the 4x200 relay team.
Short, who put his name in the record book in five events this winter, finished second in the both the 200 (21.79) and 400 (47.97). In the latter race, he slightly improved on his school record of 47.99 and greatly enhanced his chances of qualifying for the NCAA Championships. At the end of the meet, his time ranked 19th on the Division III performance list; declared athletes with the top 22 times are selected.
Selections for the NCAA Championships will be announced Sunday night.
In the 4x200, Short combined with junior
Isaac Schaffer-Neitz, freshman
Kadon Harris, and sophomore
James Williams (pictured above right) to finish in 1:30.86, breaking the record of 1:31.07 that was set in 2012.
The women also broke the school record in the 4x200, with seniors
Lauren Siesky (pictured above left),
Niki Matthews, and
Shira Gamson and junior
Maya Richwine lowering the mark they set earlier this season from 1:47.59 to 1:46.51. The Mule quartet took more than two seconds off the record that had stood since 2006.
Richwine qualified for the final in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing seventh.
Junior
Raam Ravishankar ran an indoor personal best of 1:55.99 in the 800, entering the program's all-time performance list in 10th place.
Muhlenberg also was represented at the regional meet by Matthews (60-meter hurdles), Siesky (60), Gamson (triple jump), senior
Avery McNulty (high jump), Schaffer-Neitz (60), Harris (high jump), and sophomore
Sean McNeil (high jump and triple jump).
