The Muhlenberg tennis teams both rolled to 7-0 shutouts of Eastern in their final non-Centennial Conference matches of the season.
The Mule women ran their record to 9-6, their most wins since the 2011 team finished at 10-6. They finished 9-1 against non-league opponents.
Muhlenberg dropped only 16 games in the nine matches, half of them at No. 1 singles, where sophomore
Sydney Madlock toughed out a 7-5, 6-3 victory. The Mules swept all three doubles matches, 6-0, and junior
Alexandra Downey rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at sixth singles.Â
