Three members of the Muhlenberg women's wrestling team earned rankings ahead of the 2026-27 season, which is scheduled to begin on Sunday, November 1, at McDaniel.
Sophomore
Sylvyn Parham is ranked second in Region 2 and 10th in the NCAA at 110, while sophomore
Riley Lynch (sixth at 145) and junior
Kelsey Gelb (third at 160) are regionally ranked.
Parham is coming off a tremendous 2025-26 season in which she went 25-7 and qualified for the first-ever NCAA Championships in women's wrestling. Of her 25 wins, 14 came by technical fall. Parham was ranked as high as 14th in the country last winter and defeated a nationally ranked Ursinus wrestler on criteria in the regional consolation final to earn her ticket to the national meet. The only wrestler ranked ahead of Parham in the region is a six-time world medalist who was named the most dominant wrestler in the NCAA last year.
Lynch battled injuries to finish her first collegiate campaign with a 10-7 record. Half of her wins came by fall, including three in five bouts to place fifth at the Pennsylvania State Championships.
Gelb also missed time with injuries last season, finishing with a 13-8 record that included a team-leading 10 pins. She was a national qualifier in 2024-25, the first year of the Mule women's wrestling program, when she recorded 21 wins, of which 16 were pins. Gelb is the young program's all-time leading in wins and pins.
After opening at McDaniel this Sunday, Muhlenberg is scheduled to return home to host Centenary and Lackawanna in a tri-match on Sunday, November 8.
