Five throwers competed for the Muhlenberg track and field teams at the Blue & Grey Invitational, hosted by Moravian at Lehigh.

Leading the way was sophomore Dami Shote, who placed second in the shot put with a mark of 43-5. Shote (pictured above) was one of three Mules to place in the top eight in the field of 27, with freshman Matthew Bertolino coming in fifth and sophomore CJ Mersky finishing eighth. All three Mules threw 40 feet or better.

For the women, freshman Sophia Xenakis and sophomore Kelly Stephen placed 6-7 in the shot put. Xenakis also entered Muhlenberg's all-time performance list in the weight throw (in sixth place at 34-10½).
