Repeat gold-medal performances in the high jump highlighted the second day of the Centennial Conference Track and Field Championships for Muhlenberg.
As they did indoors, senior
Avery McNulty and freshman
Kadon Harris finished first in the high jump. McNulty cleared her first four attempts, the last at 5-3¾, to earn her fifth consecutive gold in the high jump (outdoors in 2023, indoors and outdoors in 2024, indoors and outdoors in 2026; she was injured in 2025).
Harris cleared 6-3¼ on his first attempt to take first over a McDaniel competitor who missed his first try at that height. Harris also posted the fastest qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking in at a personal-best 55.61 seconds.
In addition to Harris, Muhlenberg athletes to qualify for Sunday's finals were junior
Christopher Short in the 200 and 400 and freshman
Caleb Pasols in the 100.
The men's 4x800-meter relay team of junior
David Seel, freshmen
Niklas Haraldsson and
Alex Stefaniak, and junior
Raam Ravishankar earned a bronze medal by crossing the finish line in 7:54.42, good for seventh place on the program's all-time list.
Other placewinners for the men were freshmen
Charlie Vanecek (fourth in the decathlon) and
Michael Bugler (fifth in the long jump) and sophomore
Dami Shote (seventh in the discus). Vanecek's score of 4746 points was the best by a Mule since 2013.
For the women, sophomore
Caitlyn D'Addieco unleashed the second-best discus throw in program history (132-5) to place fourth. Sophomore
Kelly Stephen duplicated Friday's eighth-place showing in the hammer by placing eighth in the discus.
Seniors
Shira Gamson and
Niki Matthews came in seventh and eighth, respectively, in the long jump. For Gamson, it was her 16th time placing at a CC meet, and for Matthews it was her 12th.
