The Muhlenberg track and field teams wrapped up their 2025-26 season by competing in Widener's Final Qualifier Meet and the AARTFC Outdoor Championships at Ursinus.
The Mules brought home two medals from the AARTFC meet, with junior
Christopher Short winning the 400 meters and senior
Avery McNulty tying for third in the high jump.
Short
(pictured above bottom), who came in third in the 400 at Widener, finished in 48.03 seconds to win by a comfortable margin in a field of 29 runners. The gold medal was the first for Short at the AARTFC Championships; he earned silver in both the 200 and 400 indoors this year. He is the first Muhlenberg men's track athlete ever to take gold at the AARTFC meet (two have won in field events).
McNulty
