Noel House and rising juniors
Maya Richwine and
David Seel.
House earned All-Metro Region in the javelin for the third consecutive season. His best throw in the regular season, 195-5, was good for first place at Moravian's Coach Pollard Invitational. House went on to win a bronze medal at the Centennial Conference Championships and qualified for the NCAA Championships with a dramatic mark of 207-9 at the AARTF Championships on what would otherwise have been the last attempt of his career. He placed 13th at the NCAA meet to earn second-team All-America honors.
Richwine received all-region recognition for the fourth time in as many collegiate seasons. She was honored in the 100-meter hurdles, an event in which she finished second at the CC Championships. Richwine would go on to break the school record in the event at the AARTF meet with a time of 14.37, shattering the old mark of 14.65 that was set in 2013. During the year, Richwine contributed to five school records - 100, 100 hurdles and 4x100 outdoors and 200 and 60 hurdles indoors.
Seel was named all-region in the 800 for the third consecutive season. He ran 1:51.76 at the CC Championships, placing second to the eventual national champion in the event, and broke a 22-year-old school record by finishing in 1:50.97 at the Widener Final Qualifier. Seel, who also won a bronze medal with the 4x400 relay team at the CC Championships, owns the school record in the 800 both indoors and outdoors.
