Hurdlers posted two of the top performances as the Muhlenberg track and field teams resumed their season at the Moravian Indoor Invitational.
Freshman
Maya Richwine won the 60-meter hurdles in a field of 25 that included six athletes from Division I and two from Division II. Her regional-qualifying time of 9.20 was more than a half-second better than that of the second-fastest Division III competitor and was the second-best in program history. The school record of 8.85 was set by an All-American in 2013.Â
On the men's side, senior
Sam McDonough ran the third-fastest 60-meter hurdle time in program history, clocking in at 8.99 seconds in his first time running indoors. He won his heat and placed seventh overall; second among Division III athletes.
Freshman
Jaden Snow (long jump) and senior
Dylan DeMagistris (weight throw) notched the highest finishes for the men's team, both coming in fifth. Freshman
David Seel (mile) and
Bryce Rhodeman (high jump) each placed eighth in their events.
Freshman
Isaac Schaffer-Neitz won his heat of the 60 meters in 7.25 seconds, landing 10th place on the Mules' all-time performance list.
Sophomore
