Muhlenberg baseball sophomore
Robert Cappadona has been named the Centennial Conference player of the week.
Â
Cappadona went 3-for-7 and drove in five runs from the leadoff spot in the Mules' season-opening sweep of Emerson. He hit a game-winning two-run homer - the first of his career - in the bottom of the sixth of the first game and had two hits, including a two-run double, in the top of the third inning in the nightcap.Â
Â
The Mules have won their first two games in each of the last four seasons. The wins are the team's second and third of the five all-time meetings. Â
