Sophomore Jimmy Fratantoni placed fourth at 165 pounds in his first collegiate tournament to lead the Muhlenberg wrestling team at the Ursinus Fall Brawl.

Fratantoni (pictured above), who missed all of last season with injury, won his first career bout with a 3-1 decision against an Ursinus opponent. After getting decisioned by a Liberty wrestler, he came back to reach the consolation final with a technical fall against a wrestler from Delaware Valley.

Freshmen Josh Hickey (141), Austin Sherman (141) and Cam Wasson (165) and sophomore Gennaro Cerminara (184) all won a pair of bouts for the Mules.

Hickey picked up his first career win with an impressive 19-6 major decision against a Gettysburg foe who placed fourth at 133 at last year's Centennial Conference Championships. He also scored a technical fall against an Ursinus opponent.

Sherman also defeated two CC wrestlers, from Johns Hopkins and Ursinus (on a pin), while Wasson pinned back-to-back opponents in the consolation bracket. Cerminara recorded his third pin of the young season against a McDaniel opponent.

Freshman Brian Jamison earned his first career win with a 12-8 decision at 149.
