Haverford scored the final two goals of the game to hand the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team a 7-5 loss.

The Mules (3-7, 0-5) jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first quarter, but the Fords rallied to tie the game by halftime and took a 5-4 lead into the fourth quarter. Junior Steven Casella scored with 11:10 left for a 5-5 tie. Haverford (4-7, 1-4) went back ahead just 15 seconds later and kept Muhlenberg off the scoreboard the rest of the way, adding an insurance goal with 2:53 left.

Senior John Hetzel had a goal and an assist for the Mules, and senior Jason Mertz recorded his 50th career assist.

Senior Adam Schlauch (pictured above) made eight saves to become the program's all-time leader with 440 stops. Sophomore Tom Kellerman led the defense with seven ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Freshman Jake Solomon was 9-for-15 on faceoffs.
