Box Score The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team came out on the short end of a defensive struggle in its Centennial Conference opener, falling 6-4 at Franklin & Marshall.
The Diplomats, who reached the CC championship game last year, scored the first three goals of the game. The Mules cut the gap to one on goals by seniors

F&M (3-4, 1-0) extended its lead back to three with a pair of goals in the third quarter. Muhlenberg had a 19-5 advantage in shots in the fourth quarter but could not get any closer than two goals.
Leading the defensive effort that held the Diplomats to six goals was sophomore
Tom Kellerman, who caused six turnovers and picked up five ground balls. Senior
Adam Schlauch made six saves in goal.
Freshman
Niko Del Moro had a goal and an assist.
