Hall of Fame
• Muhlenberg's 1989 men's soccer team was one of the best in Division III that season.
• The Mules defeated eventual national champion Elizabethtown twice that year, including once in the Middle Atlantic Conference championship game. That win secured the program's first MAC title in 17 years
• The Mules finished the season with a record of 18-2, outscoring its opponents by a combined margin of 56-9
• The team boasted six all-conference players and two All-Americans
• The team shut out 15 of their 20 opponents, earned the program's first NCAA Tournament bid since 1973, and were ranked as high as No. 7 in Division III
