The Muhlenberg women's golf team cut 53 strokes off its score in the second round of the Centennial Conference Championships.
After shooting at 498 in the first round, the Mules knocked their score all the way down to 445 in the second.Â
Senior
Katie McGrath tied for 16th in the tournament, finishing with a 91 in the second round after shooting 100 in the first. McGrath
(pictured above) shot a birdie on the 422-yard 12th hole in the second round and ended her career by making par on three of her final four holes.
Sophomore
Malaika Jha shot 99 and 100 in the two rounds. She made back-to-back pars on 11 and 12 in the first round and was within one of par on six of her last eight holes.
Seniors
Alyssa Goldsmith and
Leeanna Zagrodnik lowered their scores by 15 and 30 strokes, respectively, from the first round to the second. Goldsmith was one-over on back-to-back holes in the first round.
