Both Muhlenberg golf teams came in second at their annual spring invitational, held at Southmoore Golf Course.
Prior to the tournament, the Mules honored their seniors,
Alex McCauley,
Alyssa Goldsmith,
Charlie Kerprich,
Leeanna Zagrodnik,
Conor Mahoney, and
Katie McGrath (pictured left to right above).Â
McGrath led the women's team by shooting the lowest round of her career, a 93, to place third. She shot par on six of the 18 holes and was one over on six others.
Sophomore
Malaika Jha finished fourth with a 96, while Goldsmith made par on the ninth hole and finished at 118.
For the men, it was junior
Ryan Tasetano who posted the best round of his career. He chipped in for birdie on the 18th to end his round with a 77, just one stroke off the lead. He was at even par on the back nine, including another birdie on 13.
McCauley also birdied 13, shaking off a rough first hole to finish with an 81, one stroke ahead of Kerprich. Mahoney notched a birdie on the 483-yard fifth hole.
Sophomore
Nate Hoskins, making his Mule golfing debut, shot a birdie on the par-3 fifth hole - the only birdie recorded on that hole in the tournament.
