The Muhlenberg women's golf team finished third at two four-team tournaments in a span of three days at Turtle Creek Golf Course.
On Friday, the Mules shot a 449, nine strokes ahead of host Ursinus. Goucher won the event with a 392, and Eastern finished at 400.
Sophomore
Malaika Jha carded a 98 to place sixth. She shot par on four holes, including back-to-back pars on the second and third holes.
Jha shot a 98 again on Sunday, this time making all four of her pars on the back nine, and finishing ninth.
The other three Mules who played in both tournaments all improved their scores - senior
Katie McGrath from 107 to 99, senior
Alyssa Goldsmith from 118 to 113, and senior
Leeanna Zagrodnik (pictured above) from 126 to 115.
As a team, Muhlenberg dropped 24 strokes to 425, finishing seven strokes ahead of Ursinus. Kean came in first at 356, followed by Stockton at 384.
