The Muhlenberg men's tennis team opened its Centennial Conference slate with a 7-0 home loss to 25th-ranked Haverford.
Junior
Owen Dyer played a pair of close matches at the top of the lineup. After falling 7-5 in doubles, he took the first set of his singles match against a Haverford player who has been named to the All-CC first team each of the last two years and was an NCAA qualifier in 2024. His opponent won the second set by an identical 6-4 score and broke Dyer
(pictured above) to open the decisive third set. Trailing 3-2, Dyer had a pair of break points to draw even but could not cash in on either, and the Haverford player went on to win, 6-2.
