Men's Tennis Dominates at King's

The Muhlenberg men's tennis team opened its 2026-27 slate in fine form at the King's Invitational, winning all but one of the 11 brackets.

Senior Owen Dyer (first singles, first doubles), sophomore Sam Stein (third singles, third doubles), senior Matt Miller (fourth singles, second doubles), sophomore Casey Knipe (fifth singles, second doubles), junior Max Gofton (sixth singles, third doubles), and sophomore Noah Rodburg (seventh singles, fourth doubles) all won titles in both singles and doubles.

Gofton was especially dominant, dropping only one game in six matches, while Knipe won five of his six singles sets at love.

The only bracket where the Mules lost more than one match was seventh singles, and that was because they accounted for three of the eight spots in the bracket. All three Muhlenberg players won their first-round matches, with Rodburg (pictured above) outlasting senior Josh Simon in three sets in the final.

In his Muhlenberg debut, freshman Ryan Hart teamed up with Dyer to win No. 1 doubles and advanced to the No. 2 singles final before falling in a three-setter. Another freshman, Alexander Lewis, won his first career match 6-0, 6-0.
