Tennis Teams Wrap Up Season on the Road

The Muhlenberg tennis teams wrapped up the 2025-26 season with a pair of road matches at Gettysburg and Dickinson in the final week.

The women's No. 2 doubles team of sophomore Sydney Madlock and senior Kety Gaidamashvili (pictured above left) won 6-3 in both matches. They ended the year with an overall record of 6-4 as a pair, including a 5-2 mark in the Centennial Conference.

Junior Charley Madlock was leading in the second set when her Gettysburg opponent retired; it was her team-leading 10th singles win of the season. Junior Alexandra Downey recorded a No. 6 singles victory against Dickinson.

The Mule women finished with a 9-9 record for their most wins since 2011.

The men played very competitively despite losing to Gettysburg, 7-0, and to Dickinson, 6-1. Of the 10 singles matches played in a best-of-three format, six went to a third set.

Junior Matt Miller (pictured above right) won two close matches, 7-5 with classmate Owen Dyer at No. 2 singles vs. Gettysburg and 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) at No. 3 singles for Muhlenberg's lone point at Dickinson. Dyer and Miller ended the year with a 7-2 record together, winning four out of their five CC contests. 

Muhlenberg's men wound up with a record of 8-10.
