After experiencing great success in season-opening tournaments at King's, the Muhlenberg tennis teams dropped their first dual matches of the fall at Albright.

The men were edged out 4-3, while the women lost 7-0. Both Albright teams won their conference championship and played in the NCAA Tournament last year.

The men were swept in doubles but made a bid to come back and win the match, taking three singles matches and going to a third set at No. 6 singles.

Senior Owen Dyer won it straight sets against the 2025 MAC Commonwealth rookie of the year, while sophomore Casey Knipe (pictured above), who lost in three sets to Albright last fall, reversed the script by coming back after dropping the first set to win in a tight third-set supertiebreaker.

Sophomore Sam Stein also won in three sets at fifth singles.

Senior Charley Madlock and junior Ella Pomeranz both took their singles opponents to three sets for the women.
