The only thing that could stop the Muhlenberg tennis teams in Hilton Head was the weather. 

After having their first scheduled matches rained out, the Mules combined to go a perfect 6-0 on their Spring Break trip, capping the highly successful week with twin 5-2 wins against Alfred.

The men, playing shorthanded, came back to win after losing the doubles point. The Mules took five of the six singles matches, all in straight sets, against an Alfred squad that was also undefeated for the week.

Junior William Rose moved up to No. 1 and won, 6-3, 6-2, while at the other end of the ladder, freshman Noah Rodburg was dominant in a 6-0, 6-1 win. 

Sophomore Max Gofton (pictured above) added a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 5 to go along with his No. 3 singles win.

The women improved to 4-1 with two wins in doubles and four in singles. Senior Caitlin Bestrycki and junior Charley Madlock picked up a pair of wins apiece, as did freshman Sydney Madlock (pictured above), who won a close third-set tiebreaker at No. 1 singles.
