Seniors
Abba Diglio,
Greta Marchildon, and
Erin DiSandro (pictured left to right above) are the captains of the 2025 Muhlenberg field hockey team.
Diglio, an All-Centennial Conference second-team pick in 2023, entered her senior campaign already in the top 10 on the Mules' all-time scoring list with 72 career points. She has added to her total by netting three goals in the first two games of the season, moving into sixth all-time in points. One of 10 players in program history with at least 30 career goals, Diglio also is an All-CC performer in lacrosse.
Marchildon earned captain's honors for the second straight season. The backbone of the defense, she has played in all 53 of Muhlenberg's games since 2022, starting 52 of them. She recorded a defensive save against Moravian last season and caused a turnover that led to a goal in a Centennial Conference win vs. Washington College in 2023. Marchildon has been named to the CC Academic Honor Roll each of the last two years.
DiSandro, also a second-year captain, is a two-time All-CC pick and a 2023 All-Region V selection. She entered her senior campaign with 69 points and has recorded two goals and an assist thus far in 2025. Only the second player in program history to record at least 20 goals and 20 assists, DiSandro now ranks eighth on the Mules' all-time list with 74 career points.Â
Muhlenberg split its first two games of the season,
defeating Moravian 5-0 to claim the Sodexo Cup, and returns to action at DeSales this Saturday.
