The Muhlenberg field hockey team's record-setting scoring tandem of
Abba Diglio and
Erin DiSandro, whose senior seasons ran parallel to each other, achieved another feat in common when both were named to the
All-Centennial Conference second team.
Diglio and DiSandro both finished their careers in the top five on the Mules' all-time scoring list and were the first pair of teammates in program history to score at least 30 goals. In 2025, there were seven games in which each scored a goal. When Diglio scored four goals in a Senior Night win against McDaniel, DiSandro assisted on all four, setting a school record.
The All-CC nod was the second in field hockey for Diglio, who also made the second team in 2023 (and earned honorable mention in lacrosse this past spring). She led the Mules and ranks second in the CC with 13 goals, adding eight assists for a career-high 34 points. Diglio ended her career in the top five on the program's all-time lists in points (second with 106), goals (tied for third with 43), and assists (third with 20).
DiSandro landed on the All-CC team for the third consecutive year, becoming Muhlenberg's first three-time All-CC honoree since 2016. She scored 10 goals to tie for third in the CC and also tied for third in the CC with five assists in league games. On Muhlenberg's all-time charts, DiSandro ended up fifth in points (94), eighth in goals (35), and second in assists (24).Â
