The Muhlenberg field hockey team and many of its players were recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for academic excellence.

The team received the 2025Â NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award, which recognizes the institutions that achieved a minimum team grade-point average of 3.50 during the fall semester of the current academic year. Muhlenberg was one of 78 Division III teams to earn the prestigious acknowledgement.

Individually, 15 players were named to the 2020 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. The Academic Squad includes all undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or greater through the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Three seniors - DiSandro, Marchildon, and Woodward - were four-year honorees on the National Academic Squad.
Additionally, three Mules - DiSandro, Marchildon, and Montano - were named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction for having achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.90 or higher through the first semester.
