The Muhlenberg women's wrestling team won the third of three dual matches at Ursinus, outscoring McDaniel, 24-16.

The Mules (3-8) also lost to Ursinus and Alvernia, two established programs, by identical 35-5 finals.

After the teams traded four forfeits, McDaniel took a 15-10 lead on a pin at 145. Muhlenberg tied the match back up in short order at 160, with freshman Kelsey Gelb - whose pin accounted for the Mules' five points against Alvernia - overcoming an early 4-0 deficit to pin her opponent in 53 seconds.

Freshman Karla Lazaro took a forfeit at 180 to give Muhlenberg a 20-15 lead. In the final bout, freshman Margaret Williams (pictured above) built a 9-4 lead after the first period, then recorded three takedowns in the second to clinch the match with a technical fall, her first career win.
