The Muhlenberg baseball team got two strong starts from the back end of its rotation but struggled on offense and was swept by Grove City, 4-3 and 4-1.

Sophomore Troy Elias took a no-hitter into the sixth inning in the opener before giving up a pair of runs. The Wolverines scored twice in the top of the seventh against the bullpen to pull out the win.

Junior Tim Hofmann allowed two runs and struck out four in five innings in the nightcap.

The Mules (2-4) scored three runs on four hits in the first inning of Game 1 but managed only six hits and one run in the remainder of the doubleheader. Sophomore Robbie Hopes had an RBI single in the first game, and senior Kurt Johnson was 2-for-2 with a sacrifice fly in Game 2.
