The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 14-6 loss to Montclair State.

The Mules (3-2) trailed 3-2 after senior Jon Thomas scored a man-up goal off an assist from senior John Hetzel five minutes into the second quarter, but a long scoring drought followed. The Red Hawks (4-1), ranked 16th in Division III, netted the next 11 goals and kept Muhlenberg off the scoreboard for more than 30 minutes.

Junior Steven Casella scored two goals for the Mules, while senior Pat Farrell had two assists. Sophomores Tom Kellerman and Matthew Ventre caused three turnovers apiece for the defense.
