Photo GalleryA perfect fall day for golf turned out to be a perfect day for the Muhlenberg men's team to make some history.

The Mules captured their own invitational with a team score of 293, breaking the school record for lowest round by one stroke. They shot a 294 at the Penn State Harrisburg Spring Classic in April 2012, and their only other sub-300 round was a 299 at the Susquehanna Tee-Off Tournament in March 2000.
Muhlenberg was 15 strokes better than second-place Rutgers-Camden in winning its own tournament for the first time since 2010. The margin of victory was the greatest at the Muhlenberg Invitational since 2004, when Moravian also won by 15 strokes.
Six Mules shot in the 70s, led by sophomore
Daniel Eidman (pictured at left), who shot an even-par 70 to set a tournament record. It was the second time winning medalist honors for Eidman, who also set a tournament record with a 70 at the Alvernia Spring Invitational.
After shooting a bogey on four of his first seven holes, Eidman found his stroke and was 4-under for the final 11 holes. He is the second Mule to earn medalist honors with a 70 this year.
Junior
John Froberg tied for second place with a 72, matching his career low round. Freshman
Ellis Focht, playing on the Muhlenberg B team (which came in fourth out of 12 teams), set a career best with a 74 to tie for fifth.
Sophomore
Evan Overcash (75), freshman
Ben Lieberman (76) and senior
Jonathan Graulich (77) combined to give the Mules six of the 12 golfers in the field of 61 to shoot below 78.
