All five members of the Muhlenberg men's golf team shot birdies at the two-day DeSales Fall Classic.
The Mules finished in 10th place, improving their score by five strokes from the first round to the second.
Senior
Charlie Kerprich notched his second eagle of the season, making a 30-foot putt to card a three on the 518-yard 12th hole in the first round. It was his third career eagle; he went two under the same hole at Olde Homestead Golf Course two years ago. Kerprich finished at a one-under par 71 in the first round and entered the second day tied for third place but slipped to an 83 on the final 18 holes despite back-to-back birdies on holes 2 and 3. In addition to his eagle, Kerprich shot three birdies in the first round.
Senior
Alex McCauley (pictured above) cut seven strokes off his score on the second day, shooting a team-best 75. He was one of three Mules to birdie 15 in the second round, along with junior
Ryan Tasetano and senior
Conor Mahoney.
Tasetano also birdied 18 in the first round, while Mahoney shot a career-best 79 in the second round, notching a birdie on the eighth hole for the second straight day and finishing at even par over the back nine.
Sophomore
Justin Edwards improved seven strokes to 89 on the second day, finishing off his tournament with a birdie on 18.
