The Gettysburg men's basketball team shot better than 70 percent in the second half to pull away for a 75-54 win against Muhlenberg.

The Mules (7-6, 2-4) led for most of the first half and went into halftime trailing by four points, 29-25. The margin was five, 37-32, three minutes into the second half before the Bullets (8-5, 4-2) started shooting the lights out. They made nine of 12 field-goal tries over the next 7:24 to extend their lead to 22.

Junior Alec Stavetski was 4-for-4 from three-point range and led Muhlenberg with 18 points. Sophomore Brandon LaRose added 12 points, three assists and four steals.
