Seniors David Seel, Ella Borello, Raam Ravishankar, and Ava Lundy (pictured left to right above) have been named captains of the 2026 Muhlenberg cross country teams.

Seel is returning to the cross country team after missing the 2025 season while studying in Denmark last fall. A 10-time Centennial Conference medalist in track and field, Seel ran in the Mules' top four in all five meets in which he competed in 2024. He ended the year by running a career-best time at the NCAA Metro Regional.

Borello missed most of her first two cross country seasons with injuries, but rebounded to have a strong junior year. She was Muhlenberg's third runner most of the season, lowering her best 6K time entering the season by almost two minutes. In the final meet of last fall, Borello crossed the finish line in a career-best time at the NCAA Metro Regional.

Like Seel, Ravishankar studied in Denmark during the fall of his junior year, and he missed the entire 2024 cross country season with an injury. In his only cross country campaign to date, Ravishankar was Muhlenberg's top finisher in four of the final five meets, including the CC Championships and NCAA Metro Regional, as a freshman. He is a six-time CC medalist with relay teams in track and field.

Lundy has been a regular in the Mules' top seven each of the last three seasons. In 2025, she was the fourth Muhlenberg runner across the finish line at both championship meets, lowering her career best both times. Lundy knocked 43 seconds off her personal best over the course of last season and has taken three minutes off her first clocking as a collegiate runner.

The cross country teams are scheduled to open their season at the Lehigh Invitational this Friday and will return to Lehigh to co-host the NCAA Metro Regional with Moravian in mid-November.
