Highlighted by a top-10 individual finish, both Muhlenberg cross country teams placed in the top 10 at Lebanon Valley's Dutchmen Invitational.
The women finished seventh out of 18 teams, while the men were 10th out of 15 squads.

Leading the men was senior
Matthew Hajel (pictured above left), who came in sixth in a field of 167. He was second among Division III runners. Hajel's time of 26:14.20 beat his previous best 8K time of 27:15.5 by more than a minute and ranks 20th on the Mules' all-time performance list.Â

Andrew Smolowitz (36th place) also finished in the top quarter of the field.

Jem Berney paced the women's team in the 5K race, placing 32nd out of 186 runners and 13th among Division III competitors. Juniors
