Muhlenberg athletes are spending the summer of 2026 enjoying fantastic experiences on campus, in their hometowns, across the country, and even around the world.
Jakob Kirz, a junior defenseman on the men's lacrosse team, helped lay the groundwork for law school by interning in the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
This summer, I had the opportunity to intern with the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, specifically with the Trial Division. I am currently studying
political science and
international studies and hope to attend law school after Muhlenberg.
Throughout the summer, I was able to gain experience and background in the happenings of criminal court, including trials, motions, sentencings, and more.
Additionally, I have been fortunate to be allowed to sit in on witness preparation sessions, conferences between prosecutors and attorneys, and other meetings which happen outside the courtroom but lay the groundwork for what occurs inside it.
I am excited to continue to learn more about this field!
