Kusko, Bobrowski Earn Second and Third Player of the Week Nods

Chase Kusko and Morgan Bobrowski have continued to establish themselves among the Centennial Conferences' best, claiming their second and third player of the week honors this season, respectively.

Kusko, a junior, joins Bobrowski as the only Mules to be back-to-back players of the week in 2025-26 after being named offensive player of the week last week as well.  He totaled 14 points on three goals and 11 assists in just two games, passing three career milestones and leading the Mules to two wins. First, he dished out five assists in a 12-11 upset win at No. 19 Cortland on March 18, including four on consecutive Muhlenberg second-half goals. Kusko then added nine points on three goals and six assists in a 16-10 home win against Kean - only the fourth time in program history that a Mule notched at least nine points in a game. During that game, he reached the career milestones of 50 goals, 100 assists and 150 points, and moved into second place on the program's all-time scoring list.

Not only does Kusko lead the Mules in points this year with 49, he's tops in the conference in points per game with 5.2. He's the only men's lacrosse player in the Centennial Conference with over 30 assists, and his 35 dimes is good for a tie for fourth in Division III. On March 21, Kusko became the second player in program history to reach 100 career assists, joining Ethan Grossman.

It was just another week in the office for the sophomore Bobrowski, who tossed 12 innings and didn't allow an earned run in her two appearances en route to her third pitcher of the week nod in four tries. She converted both of those chances into wins, first going the first five innings against Kings while allowing four hits and an unearned run in a 9-1 Muhlenberg win. Against Stockton, which came in undefeated (10-0) and with a .394 team batting average, Bobrowski faced only five batters over the minimum in tossing her second career complete game. She gave up only three hits and an unearned run while striking out three in the Mules' 8-1 victory.

On the season, the Mules' ace is now 6-0 with a 0.68 earned run average (ERA) and 32 strikeouts over 41.0 innings of work. She's only the third Mule pitcher in the 2000s to start a season with six straight wins and sits atop the Centennial conference in ERA, wins, and batting average against (.163). Bobrowski is also the fourth straight Muhlenberg softball player to earn a weekly conference award. Freshman Sofia Gallahue won offensive player of the week last week, and Bobrowski opened the season by nabbing back-to-back pitcher of the week honors.
