Men's Lacrosse Names Three Captains

The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team has named three captains for the 2026 season.

Selected to lead the Mules were (pictured left to right above) junior Chase Kusko, senior Thomas Olifiers, and junior Jack Bill.

Kusko enjoyed a spectacular breakout season in 2025, setting school records with 55 assists and 74 points. He ranked 15th in Division III in assists per game. Kusko had three games with at least six assists, a feat that had been previously accomplished only once in program history, and after only two seasons already is seventh on Muhlenberg's all-time scoring list with 109 career points.

Olifiers has played in every game the last two seasons as a defensive midfielder. Last year, he recorded 19 ground balls and caused 6 turnovers as part of a unit that led the Centennial Conference in clearing defense. Olifiers also scored his first career goal in the final minute of regulation in a double-overtime win at Haverford.

Bill led Muhlenberg with 37 goals in 2025, becoming the first player in program history named to the All-CC first team as a freshman and sophomore. Bill, who has earned All-America honorable mention each of the last two seasons, holds the school record for most total goals as a freshman and sophomore (77) and is already tied for seventh on the program's all-time list in career goals.

The Mules, who are scheduled to open their season at Stevenson on February 14, ended the 2025 campaign with a 10-9 record, reaching double figures in wins for the third consecutive season. The Mules earned a playoff berth for the fourth straight year and advanced to the semifinals after defeating Franklin & Marshall for their first CC playoff win ever. Along the way, they set school record for goals (223) and assists (145) in a season.
