The Muhlenberg men's tennis team opened the 2025-26 year with an impressive performance at the King's Invitational, sweeping all 11 brackets.

Nine Mule players combined to go 32-0 without losing a set in seven singles and four doubles draws. Six of them - juniors Owen Dyer, William Rose, and Matt Miller and freshmen Casey Knipe, Sam Stein, and Noah Rodburg - won brackets in both singles and doubles. 

Knipe, making his Muhlenberg debut, dropped only four games in four singles matches in Flight 4. Rose (pictured above) also won handily in Flight 2 singles, losing only six games in three matches.

By contrast, sophomore Max Gofton played the closest singles match, outlasting his Lebanon Valley opponent in the Flight 5 final, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5). Miller and Knipe prevailed in the Flight 2 doubles final in a tiebreaker against a Wilkes duo.
