Track and Field Teams Lauded for Academics

The Muhlenberg track and field teams, and five of their athletes, received academic awards from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Both squads were designated as All-Academic Teams for having a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher through the Spring 2025 semester. Both Mule teams easily cleared the bar, with the women clocking in at 3.598 and the men at 3.3.

Five Muhlenberg athletes were named All-Academic Athletes. To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 and have finished the season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the Division III descending order lists on TFRRS. In addition, any athletes not among the top 50, but who participated at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, are eligible.

The five Mules who made the grade were (pictured left to right above):

Sean McNeil (freshman in 2025, major undeclared, ranked 35th in indoor triple jump)
David Seel (sophomore, biology, ranked 29th in outdoor 800)
Maya Richwine (sophomore, biology, competed in 60-meter hurdles at NCAA Championships)
Maxwell Broadbent (sophomore, biology/business administration, ranked 41st in outdoor triple jump)
Noel House (graduate student, organizational leadership, competed in javelin at NCAA Championships)
