Muhlenberg graduates
Jillian Kubikowski '25 and
Emily Vaughan '25 were named to the All-Metro Region second team by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
It was the second straight year the Mules landed two players on the all-region squad; prior to 2024, they hadn't had two all-region honorees since 2017. Both players also were named to the All-Centennial Conference first team.Â
Kubikowski led Muhlenberg in goals (63), assists (35), and points (98), ranking in the top five in the CC in all three categories. Kubikowski's 98 points this season ranked 26th in Division III heading into the NCAA Tournament and are the third-most in a season in program history. She had 12 hat tricks on the season and four games with nine points.
Kubikowski scored her 200th point in Muhlenberg's final game and finished 10th on the all-time scoring list, recording 165 of her 200 points in her final two seasons. She also ended up eighth in assists (73) all-time.
A second-team selection in 2024, Vaughan is the sixth player in program history to earn all-region honors more than once. She leads the CC in caused turnovers per game (2.50) and tops all field players in ground balls per game (3.61). Vaughan is tied for 26th in Division III in caused turnovers, tying a school record with 45, and also contributed to the offense with 23 goals and 13 assists.
Vaughan finished her career as the Mules' all-time leader with 127 caused turnovers while also ranking second in ground balls (178) and third in draw controls (265). She scored 105 career points on 64 goals and 41 assists.
Muhlenberg finished the 2025 season with a 14-5 record, setting a school record for wins, and scored the first CC playoff win in program history with a 16-8 home defeat of Ursinus. All five of the Mules' losses were to nationally ranked teams, and they were in the running for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.Â
