Muhlenberg men's wrestling earned team and individual academic recognition from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
The Mules earned a spot on the NCAA Division III Men's Scholar Team Top 30, posting the eighth-highest GPA in the country: 3.716.
Nine members of the Muhlenberg team were named NCAA D3 Men's Scholar All-Americans. To be so recognized, a student-athlete must meet the following academic and athletic criteria:
Wrestling - must accomplish at least one of the two
• Place in top 8 in the regional tournamentÂ
• Wrestle at least 15 matches and have a win percentage greater than 66%
Academics - must accomplish at least one of the two
• Have an average GPA of 3.2 over the last two semesters or quarters or last three trimesters
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2

Ryan Fairchild, public health major, regional placewinner

Paul Parise, psychology major, CC third-place finisher
•
Anson Dewar, finance major, CC runner-up and regional placewinner
Muhlenberg enjoyed a successful season on the mat in addition to the classroom, finishing third at the Centennial Conference Championships and sending a program-record seven athletes to the podium at the regional meet.
