The Muhlenberg men's wrestling team fell to a strong Ursinus squad, 38-7, in its final home match of the season. 

Prior to the match, the Mules honored seniors David Rosenfarb, Trey Miletics, Ben Krauss, Logan Hurwitt, Hayk Grigorian, Ryan Fairchild, and Collin Boldt (pictured above with their families).

Five of the 10 bouts were highly competitive, with Muhlenberg winning two of them against a Bears team that has regionally ranked wrestlers at eight of the 10 weight classes.

Miletics got the Mules off to a good start at 165 with an 11-5 decision in his first action in nearly a month. Miletics was reversed twice in the second period, but recorded one takedown just eight seconds into the bout, another in the second period, and a third with 35 seconds remaining to clinch the win.

The 125-pound bout matched two regionally ranked wrestlers, with junior CJ Horvath (fourth) taking on an Ursinus opponent who is ranked sixth and came in 4-0 in Centennial Conference duals. After a scoreless first period, Horvath escaped and took down his opponent in the second period, then notched another takedown in the third period en route to a 10-1 major decision that improved his season record to 17-2.

Fairchild (197) and junior Nick Stump (184) both wrestled tight bouts against regionally ranked opponent, losing 4-1 on a single takedown. At 149, freshman Eoghan O'Hara trailed 10-0 at one point and 12-4 late in the second period before reversing his opponent to his back to cut the gap to 12-10. An Ursinus reversal in the final minute secured the 14-10 win, however.
