The Muhlenberg men's wrestling team split its final two duals of the season, falling to Merchant Marine, 31-13, before closing out with a 28-26 win against Johns Hopkins.

The Mules will travel to Merchant Marine for the Centennial Conference Championships next Saturday.

Muhlenberg trailed Johns Hopkins, 23-18, with three bouts to go before junior Nick Stump pinned his 184-pound opponent in a career-fastest 33 seconds. It was the 10th pin of the season for Stump (pictured above), who also recorded a major decision against Merchant Marine and finished 4-1 against CC opponents in duals.

Senior Ryan Fairchild followed with a 13-2 major decision to extend the Mules' lead to 28-23. Although senior Hayk Grigorian dropped the final bout, he clinched the win for Muhlenberg by not giving up any bonus points.

Junior CJ Horvath picked up a pair of forfeit wins at 125 to finish a perfect 5-0 in CC duals. Other Mule winners were senior Trey Miletics by decision against Merchant Marine and freshman Eoghan O'Hara with his ninth pin of the season against Johns Hopkins.
