The Muhlenberg women's tennis won all the close matches and picked up its first win of the year, 5-2 against FDU-Florham.

Competing with only five players, the Mules needed to win both doubles matches and at least three of the singles matches. After junior Caitlin Bestrycki (pictured above) and sophomore Jordyn Brown teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, the all-Alexandra No. 2 team clinched the doubles point. Freshman Alexandra Roehl and sophomore Alexandra Downey overcame a 5-1 deficit to pull out a 7-5 win in the tiebreaker. 

Both Alexandras took their singles matches, 6-1, 6-2, giving Muhlenberg a 3-2 lead with two matches left on the court. Brown clinched the team victory by winning her match in a third set, and freshman Lauryn Glass provided the final margin by coming back to prevail in three sets for her first career win.
