Andrew Franklin was named Centennial Conference wrestling Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Scholar-Athletes of the Year are presented to a member of the junior or senior class with the highest cumulative GPA on the All-Centennial team. Franklin is the first Mule men's wrestler ever to win the honor.
A computer science major, Franklin was the CC runner-up at 285 pounds, reaching the title bout as the third seed by pinning the second seed in the semifinals. He went on the place seventh at the regional meet and finished the season with a record of 14-8.
Also a member of the Muhlenberg football team, Franklin ended his wrestling career with a career record of 39-29, including 11 pins.Â
