Two Muhlenberg winter sports athletes closed out their 2024-25 seasons at the Division III Championships.
At the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Rochester, sophomore
Maya Richwine came in 19th in the 60-meter hurdles, wrapping up an indoor season in which she broke the school records in the hurdles and 200 meters, winning a gold medal in the latter event at the Centennial Conference Championships. The outdoor season is scheduled to begin on March 29.
At the NCAA Men's Wrestling Championships in Providence, sophomore
Andrew Loniewski dropped both of his bouts. In his first bout, he drew the fourth-seed, from Concordia-Moorhead, who came in undefeated on the season and went on to earn All-America honors. Loniewski closed out his season with a record of 30-14, winning the CC title at 141 and placing third at regionals.
