Four student-athletes were among the 13 valedictorians who were recognized when the Muhlenberg College Class of 2026 graduated in Allentown's PPL Center.
All four were four-year members of their teams and experienced success in competition as well as in the classroom.
Collin Boldt, a history major with minors in Asian studies and German studies, wrestled at 165, 174, and 184 for the Mules and was part of teams that crowned eight Centennial Conference champions and two All-Americans. He was named to the CC Academic Honor Roll three times and the CC Sportsmanship Team once.Â
Erin DiSandro, a biology major and public health minor, was a four-year starter and three-time all-conference selection in field hockey, finishing as the fifth-leading scorer in program history with 94 career points. She was named CC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for field hockey as a senior and received an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
Sophia Jacobson, a public health and business administration double major, was the top pinch-runner on the softball team that won 36 games - the most ever by any Muhlenberg team in any sport - and won an NCAA Regional for the first time in 2026. She was named to the CC Academic Honor Roll three times and the CC Sportsmanship Team twice.
Danielle Sautner, a psychology major who also earned a pre-K-4 teaching certificate, recorded 49 assists in 48 career games for the women's lacrosse team, helping the Mules record their first CC playoff win ever in 2025 and earn a national ranking in 2026. She was named to the CC Academic Honor Roll three times.
