The Muhlenberg wrestling team won one of three matches against tough competition at the Scotty Wood Duals.

The Mules defeated Division II East Stroudsburg, 29-9, before falling to Central, 22-12, and Johnson & Wales, 39-12. Johnson & Wales is 10th in Division III in the National Wrestling Coaches Association tournament team rankings. 

Freshman Anson Dewar went 3-0 at 157, winning a pair of decisions and on an injury default. Senior Angelo Mahaffey (184) and freshman Fletcher Goodman (174) each posted a pair of wins, with Goodman scoring a takedown in sudden victory for a 3-1 win against East Stroudsburg. 

Senior Ramiro Osuna posted Muhlenberg's lone pin of the day, flattening his East Stroudsburg opponent midway through the first period. Sophomore Joey Lamparelli recorded three four-point near-falls en route to a technical fall vs. ESU.
