The 21st-ranked Muhlenberg wrestling team breezed to three wins at the Mid-Winter Classic, hosted by Penn College.

In defeating Hunter (30-20), Thaddeus Stevens (54-6) and Penn College (38-15), the Mules (12-2) earned bonus points in all 21 of their victories. In fact, all but two of those 21 wins came with maximum bonus points (by pin or forfeit); the other two were major decisions.

Senior Josh Hickey led Muhlenberg with two pins at 133. Hickey (pictured above) came into the season with three pins in his career but now has four in his last six bouts.

Senior Brian Jamison (174) and sophomore Luca Colestock (197) only took the mat against Penn College in their 3-0 days. Jamison pinned his opponent in a career-fastest 26 seconds, while Colestock needed only 63 seconds to notch his team-leading ninth pin of the season and improve to 20-1.

Senior Austin Sherman (149) won two contested bouts with a pin and a major decision. On the program's all-time lists, he moved into a tie for eighth place with 85 career wins and into a tie for second with 16 major decisions. 

Seniors Jimmy Fratantoni at 184 (pin and major decision) and Scott Schaeffer at heavyweight (pin) both topped the 70-win mark for their careers.
