Four Muhlenberg athletes earned weekly honors from the Centennial Conference.
Junior Jordy Bonvini was named women's lacrosse offensive player of the week, senior
Sara Allison women's lacrosse defensive player of the week, junior
Michael Havkins men's field athlete of the week and senior
Michelle Gaykowski women's field athlete of the week.
Bonvini scored 10 goals in a pair of Mule wins, including an 8-7 upset of top-ranked Gettysburg. She tied a career high with six goals to go along with 10 draw controls in a 20-6 win against Drew and added four of the her team's eight goals against the Bullets.
Bonvini, who passed the 100-point mark for her career in the Drew game, leads Muhlenberg and ranks fourth in the CC with 27 goals. She leads the CC by a wide margin with 61 draw controls.
Allison compiled a 6.50 goal-against average and .581 save percentage in the two games. She made 10 saves, including five on free-position shots, in a 20-6 win against Drew and stopped eight shots against the Bullets, allowing only four goals in the final 56 minutes of the game.
Allison is third in the CC with a 7.66 goals-against average.
The two victories extended the women's lacrosse winning streak to a school-record-tying seven games and propelled the team
into the Division III top 20 for the first time in program history.
Havkins won the discus at the Muhlenberg Invitational with a throw of 156-7, the best mark by a Mule in 31 years and more than 11 feet better than his previous personal record. The distance is the best in the CC this season by 10 feet and the 14th-best in Division III.
Gaykowski, who earned the CC honor for the second straight week, broke her own school record in the discus at the Muhlenberg Invitational, throwing 140-1. The mark is the best in the Mideast Region by almost 15 feet and the 10th-best in Division III this season. Gaykowski finished third behind the two-time Division III discus champion and a Division I thrower.
